How to Turn Sheep Manure into Organic Fertilizer with Sheep Manure Organic Fertilizer Production Equ
Sheep manure can be used as fertilizer for crops and flowers. However, sheep manure can only be used in farmland after fermentation to get organic fertilizer. Since sheep manure contains coliform bacteria, nematodes and other pests and diseases, direct application to farmland can lead to the spread of pests and crop diseases, as well as root burns and seedling burns. Therefore, sheep manure needs to be fermented to improve safety.

Sheep manure organic fertilizer fermentation process:

First, sheep manure should be dried in the air to keep its humidity below 85%, and then straw powder should be added. The auxiliary material (rice straw powder) should be controlled at 23-28, and the moisture content should be controlled at 52%-68%. Finally, organic fertilizer and fermentation catalyst are added. After the raw materials, auxiliary materials and bacteria are mixed and stirred, they can be stacked for fermentation. The stacking requirement is to stack the mixture on the fermentation field in trapezoidal strips with a width of 1.8m-3m at the bottom, 0.8m-1m at the top and 1m-1.5m in height. the strips are spaced 0.5m apart. the temperature will rise above 60°C within 24-48 hours after the bars are stacked and the stacking will start after the temperature has been maintained for 48 hours. It is also possible to build fermenters 50 m long and 4 m wide and to build multiple tanks. The mixture is stacked in the fermenter and then composted using the composter of the organic fertilizer plant. Composting depth can be up to 0.7m-1m. Turning should be even and complete, and low level special materials should be dumped in the middle and upper part of the pile for full decomposition.

After the first time, we have to turn it every day. However, when the temperature exceeds 70℃, the raw materials must be turned over immediately, otherwise it will kill a lot of beneficial microorganisms and fermentation bacteria, which is not conducive to fermentation. The first thing to look for is the color of the fermentation. The color of ordinary fertilizer will change to brown or dark brown, and the ammonium nitrogen content will increase significantly; then look at the leaching solution. After the decomposed organic fertilizer is mixed with water (1:5), leave it for 5 minutes and observe the color of the leachate; then look at the volume. The volume of mature compost is 1/3-1/2 of the volume of a newly stacked strip pile. finally, spread the fermented organic fertilizer evenly on dry ground with a thickness of no more than 20 cm and turn it frequently so that the moisture content is less than 32%.
