Sources of odor in organic fertilizer production process: The odor in organic fertilizer production mainly comes from raw material decay and deterioration, organic fertilizer fermentation and organic fertilizer drying, etc. Organic fertilizer production of odor substances of many kinds, a wide range of sources, generally ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, etc., on human respiratory, digestive, cardiovascular, endocrine and nervous system will cause varying degrees of toxicity, some odor even without health hazards, there are mental or emotional stimulation and impact on people. 

Composting process odor generation stage: mainly generated in the early stages of fermentation, due to the rapid degradation of easily decomposed organic substances consume a lot of oxygen, resulting in local hypoxia and small molecules of organic substances and hydrogen sulfide. At this time, due to the low pH is not easy to produce ammonia volatilization, about 1-2 weeks later, as the compost pH increases and a lot of ammonia volatilization. At this time, the compost has gradually completed composting primary fermentation. 
 
Composting process odor suppression and elimination: by adjusting the aeration of the material, increase ventilation and add adsorbent materials can be suppressed to some extent the generation of odor.
